today i went to a local nature reserve with two of my friends. the intention was that it would be another birdwatching day but unfortunately these two friends are far from bird hobbyists. i mean i'm not gonna larp as a professional either as i just started properly appreciating birds this year but like cmon chat let's lock in (love my two friends though even if theyre stupid men)
however, this nature reserve has like a little greenhouse sanctuary thing that grows orchids!! i was able to get a TON of really nice orchid photos. i would post them all but that's a bit excessive lol. i chose to put this one up specifically bc i might be drawing it in my sketchbook tomorrow or something after work. plus the composition is really nice imo (good job me)
i also included a photo my friend took of me in my element LMFAO. ignore how grown out my roots are i have an appointment on the 15th... i'll have my swag back soon...
anyways that's all for today! so far it's been a really exciting week in terms of interacting with nature :) i hope i'm able to keep this up for the whole summer :)

birding with friend :))
this morning i had a super successful birding outing with my friend at a local park :))) it was super fun and i was able to get some really nice photos. highlights of the outing were def finding the great blue heron, the hairy woodpecker, and the northern flicker!! i also got some really nice photos of my goat red-winged blackbird where the red is super visible!!
i put some of my favorite photos on this post as you can see!! i found this camera in my house randomly. i assume my mom bought it ages ago and just never used it lol, but i'm glad that i'm able to make good use of it now!!
it was also really fun getting to hang out with my friend :) i'm home from college now so i'm finally able to see my friends from my hometown after ages. after birding, we got brunch together at this hella expensive cafe.... at least the food and the drinks were good......

yayayay i finally got this part of my website done :)
i kinda just wanted a place where i could log my daily life/general thoughts/whatever else is on my mind so here we are LOL
the background photo shows azaleas bc those are my favorite flower and i'm def gonna be talking about nature a lot on this blog
